Hi, I’m Ashley
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Licensed in: Massachusetts
Ashley brings 15 years of working in clinical settings to Eastern Counseling & Wellness. She graduated from Springfield College’s School of Social Work in 2012 and found a love and passion for meditation and yoga around 2013.
Ashley places high value in holding a warm and safe healing space for her clients.
She uses breath-work, meditation, yoga, and humor in therapy. She is naturally drawn to help people discover, uncover, and rediscover things about themselves that give them the confidence to be themselves, authentically. Ashley enjoys teaching others about mindfulness and self monitoring in non-judgmental, curious, and forgiving ways.
By learning these essential skills we can work to reshape the damaging narratives and stories we carry around with us. These stories can hold us back from fulfilling our wildest dreams.
Ashley believes therapy should be individualized to the person. Mindful of what they are looking for and need right here. Right now.
She enjoys working with the following treatment modalities:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Compassion-Focused Therapy(CFT)
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Narrative Therapy
One of Ashley’s cornerstones to a solid therapeutic alliance is her emphasis on humor & psychoeducation. We all need to straddle the playfulness and more serious parts of life with more ease, gentleness, and flow! She also enjoys interweaving the use of the Enneagram system to assist in supporting clients who are interested.
Her clinical specialties include the following:
Developmental Trauma
Grief & Loss
Major and Minor Life Transitions
Anxiety

Low Self-Esteem
High Levels of Shame & Loneliness
She holds the following certifications from the Evergreen Institute:

Life is too short to be struggling alone or with ineffective methods of coping. You don’t have to go it alone. We are all doing our best to survive, but let’s heal and thrive.
